About Compress png
This is a program that compresses one or more PNG pictures without ever resizing them. As soon as you add your PNG pictures in the input area, the program reduces their color palette and re-encodes them, so each output keeps the exact width and height of the input. In the options, you can adjust the compression level, ask for a maximum output size, and find the old and new picture file sizes.
- Input
- Images that this browser can decode. Format acceptance in the chooser does not guarantee that every image encoding is supported.
- Output
- Download the result in the format shown beside its filename. Batch ZIP is available only where the result area offers it.
- Processing
- The current implementation processes the selected files on this device. Processing libraries, language data or models may be downloaded separately; these resource requests do not require uploading the selected file.
- Limits and behavior
- File capacity depends on device memory and input encoding. Large or unsupported files can fail; encrypted PDFs may need to be unlocked before use. There is no site-wide file-size guarantee.
